[Redmi Go] Redmi Go Review

Hi Mi Fans,

Android (Go edition) is a powerful and smoothest experience for entry-level smartphones. Redmi Go is the first Android Go device by Xiaomi. It was launched in Malaysia on 13th April 2019 with the price of RM 299 for 1GB RAM + 8GB Storage.

Redmi Go is equipped with Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 425 Processor Quad-core, up to 1.4GHz. With Android Oreo (Go Edition), the device is running smooth when open the application, perform some actions after tap and so on. The app launcher that used by Redmi Go is Mint Launcher which is looked similar to Poco Launcher that used in Pocophone F1.

As you can see the screenshot above, you can customized the icon pack and also change the font and icon size. I tried to play "Into The Dead" by PIKPOK, it is running smooth without lagging.

Besides that, Redmi Go offered 3,000 mAh battery which is enough for single day usage. It has microUSB charging port on the bottom of the phone. For display, Redmi has 5.0" HD 16:9 large display with 1280 x 720 resolution.

Next, Redmi Go has 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. You can take a look on the photo and selfies that I took. The photo is quite clear but unfortunately, when it's focused on some spot, you can't take the photo of the sky clearly.

Lastly, I was surprise with the loudness of the sound produced by Redmi Go. It is very loud and clear compared to the other entry-level smartphones. It was awesome if you listen to music or watching videos with Redmi Go.

As a conclusion, Redmi Go is a worthy entry-level smartphones for its specs and affordable price. You can use the phone as your secondary phone to play the music while you are playing games.
