Before I started to play PUBG MOBILE with Redmi Note 9S, I had set the graphic settings to “Smooth” and the frame rate settings to “Ultra”. Although it doesn’t support the highest frame rate settings which is “Extreme”, considering its price tag which is starting from RM 799, it’s more than enough!
During the game, the whole gaming experience is really smooth and without any lagging or delay. You can knock out your enemy and kill them easily.
Besides that you can drive the vehicle to knock out and kill your enemy easily. Exit your vehicle immediately if the vehicle is on fire before it explodes, as it might kill you too.
With the smooth gaming experience in Redmi Note 9S, you can get Winner Winner Chicken Dinner easily. But this also depends if your teammate is cooperative during the whole gaming period.
If you are skillful enough to kill more, you can become the most valuable player (MVP) during the game session.
After I played PUBG Mobile with Redmi Note 9S, now I'm going to start playing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Before that, I had set the graphics settings to “Ultra” and turned on both HD mode and HFR mode.
After I'm done with the settings, let’s start the game by choosing a hero and other related settings such as spells, builds and sets.
During the game, the whole gaming experience is really smooth and without any lagging or delay. You can destroy your enemy turret and kill your enemy ally easily. But this also depends on your skills and knowledge about the hero that you have chosen earlier.
As a conclusion, Redmi Note 9S is really good in gaming performance for mid-range smartphones. With 6.67 inches Full HD+ display, you can look at the bigger screen for your gaming sessions. With side-mounted fingerprint sensor, you can unlock your phone in no time and can start your game very soon. With Snapdragon 720G, it is able to provide the smoothest and lagless experience for most of the gaming sessions. With 5,020 mAh battery, you can play games for a very long time. With 3.5mm headphone jack, you can still use your headphone during gaming without using 3.5mm to USB Type-C adapter.
A lot of people are comparing the specifications of realme 6 with Redmi Note 9S. From my personal perspective, I don’t think it is a fair fight because from specification-wise, the main competitor of realme 6 should be Redmi Note 8 Pro, as both of them feature MediaTek Helio G90T and 64MP Quad Camera. Compared to realme 6, Redmi Note 8 Pro offered LiquidCool technology, a bigger battery, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on front and rear, IR blaster, higher MP front camera. For the price, realme 6 costs RM 999 for 4GB RAM and 128GB storage whereas Redmi Note 8 Pro costs RM 899 for 6GB RAM and 64GB storage and RM 999 for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Back to Redmi Note 9S, with the price tag of RM 799 for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, you can have 6.67 inches tiny DotDisplay, Snapdragon 720G, 5,020 ultra-high capacity battery with 18W fast charging, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on front, rear and camera. It’s still be pretty good deal and value for money if you are looking for a powerful and affordable mid-range smartphone!
