[POCO F3] POCO F3 Gaming Performance Review

Greetings to All Beloved POCO Fans, 

I believe most of you are interested in the gaming performance on POCO F3 due to its powerful chipset, Snapdragon 870. Today, I will play some graphically demanding mobile games, such as PUBG Mobile, Call Of Duty: Mobile, Mobile Legends, Bang Bang and Genshin Impact. Before we start the game, let’s have a quick recap for the chipset and audio specifications for POCO F3. 

POCO F3 is featuring AMOLED with E4 material, 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. With 120Hz refresh rate, you can enjoy extraordinary smoothness in gaming on large 6.67" AMOLED display. Meanwhile, the 360Hz touch sampling rate allows the phone to respond extremely fast to the touch of your fingertips. Besides that, the flagship-level dual speakers in POCO F3 that are certified by Dolby Atmos® provide realistic surround sound and offer an incredible immersive audio-visual experience. POCO F3 is equipped with Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 870 5G Mobile Platform, an octa-core processor that is fabricated in 7nm manufacturing process. The processor's prime core clock speeds up to 3.2GHz. Besides that, Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 870 is paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, which means that it guarantees faster read-write speeds for multitasking. Not only that, POCO F3 is featuring LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus which allows the device to deliver continuous peak performance.

Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 870 able to achieve 640,758 scores in AnTuTu Benchmark, which defeated Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 865 (589,983) that was equipped in the previous POCO flagship smartphone, POCO F2 Pro. 

PUBG Mobile by Tencent Games

PUBG Mobile is one of the most popular survival mobile games which is known by most of us. In order to win the game, you need to procure the equipment such as weapons, bullets, medics and so on in the buildings, kill all your enemies and survive until the very last. The highest graphics settings that available in POCO F3 is Ultra HD with Ultra frame rate. Unfortunately UHD graphics settings are not supported for POCO F3. 

Before I start the game, I will set the graphics to Ultra HD and frame rate to Ultra. I had added the video recording for PUBG Mobile gaming experience with POCO F3 in the following: 

The gameplay in PUBG Mobile with POCO F3 is very smooth and no lagging at all. After 30 minutes of gameplay, the battery had dropped about 10% and the phone was slightly warm. 

Call Of Duty: Mobile by Garena

Call Of Duty: Mobile is one of the most popular shooter mobile games which is known by most of us too. In order to win the game, you need to kill your enemy and avoid being killed to reach the maximum limit of killing. The highest graphics settings that available in POCO F3 is Very High with Max frame rate. 

Before I start the game, I will set the graphics to Very High and frame rate to Max. I had added the video recording for Call Of Duty: Mobile gaming experience with POCO F3 in the following: 

After 10 minutes of gameplay in Call Of Duty: Mobile with POCO F3, the whole gaming experience is very smooth and no lagging at all, the battery usage drops about 1% and the phone is slightly warm. 

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang by Moonton

I believe most of you heard about Mobile Legends: Bang Bang as it’s one of the most popular MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) mobile games. Before you destroy your enemy base in order to win the game, you need to destroy the enemy turret along the path to the enemy base. The highest graphics settings that available in POCO F3 is Ultra and with HFR mode settings. 

Before I started the game, I had set the graphics to Ultra with HFR mode turned on. Let’s check out the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang gaming experience video recording following: 

The whole gaming experience in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang with POCO F3 is extremely smooth without any lagging during the game. I had noticed that after a 15 minutes game, the battery had dropped about 4% and the phone was not warm at all. During the gameplay, I can feel the sound movement from left to right or right to left, especially when you’re heading to or away from the area where your teammate is fighting with their enemy. 

Genshin Impact by MiHoYo

Genshin Impact is one of the famous action role-playing mobile games. Although the highest graphics quality available is Highest as shown in the following screenshot, it's recommended to play in Medium graphics quality because it’s shown overclocked in both High and Highest graphics quality. 

Before I started the "Lost Book Quest" dungeon, I had set the graphics quality to Highest. Let’s check out the Genshin Impact gaming experience video recording following. Unfortunately the game sound was unable to record due to some technical issue in the game itself. 

During the game, the whole gaming experience in Genshin Impact with POCO F3 is smooth without any lagging during the game. I had noticed that after a 12 minutes game, the battery had dropped about 4% and the phone was slightly warm. 

From my opinion, POCO F3 is definitely for you if you are looking for the budget flagship smartphone with better processor for gaming. Snapdragon 870 that is equipped in POCO F3 can load the game faster, and also improve the gaming experience for the graphically demanding mobile games. Not only that, the Dolby Atmos dual speakers bring you into the gaming world and also alert you the direction where your enemy might attack you.
