[POCO X3 Pro] POCO X3 Pro Gaming Performance Review

What do you think about the phone unboxing for POCO X3 Pro that I had shared recently? Now, I would like to talk about the gaming performance review with POCO X3 NFC (6GB RAM + 128GB Storage). Let’s recap the performance specifications for POCO X3 Pro. 

POCO X3 Pro featuring flagship 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. At a 120Hz high refresh rate, you can enjoy the smooth gaming experience in action mobile games, while the 240Hz high touch sampling rate decreases the touch latency. I will choose to play PUBG Mobile first with POCO X3 Pro as it's one of the most popular survival mobile games. The highest graphics settings that available in POCO X3 Pro is Ultra HD with Ultra frame rate. Unfortunately UHD graphics settings are not supported for POCO X3 Pro. 

Before I start the game, I will set the graphics to Ultra HD and frame rate to Ultra. I had added the video recording for PUBG Mobile gaming experience with POCO X3 Pro in the following: 

During the game, the gameplay is very smooth and no lagging at all. The battery usage after an hour of gaming is about 10% and the phone is slightly warm. By considering the specifications and the price of the phone, it’s quite worth the money to play PUBG Mobile in Ultra HD graphics. 

Call Of Duty: Mobile by Garena

Next, I will play another popular shooter mobile game, Call Of Duty: Mobile with POCO X3 Pro. The highest graphics quality available is Very High and the highest frame rate available is Max as shown in the screenshot below.

The whole gaming experience is very smooth and no lagging at all during the game. The phone is slightly warm after 5 minutes of gameplay. 

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang by Moonton

Besides that, I also tried out one of the popular MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) mobile games, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The highest graphics settings that available in POCO X3 Pro is Ultra and with HFR mode settings. 

Before I started the game, I had set the graphics to Ultra with HFR mode turned on. Let’s check out the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang gaming experience video recording following: 

During the gameplay, the whole gaming experience is very smooth and no lagging at all. After the 15 minutes game, I noticed that the battery usage is about 3% and the phone is slightly warm. 

LifeAfter by NetEase Games

Next, I tried out one of the popular survival mobile games, LifeAfter with POCO X3 Pro. The highest graphics settings available in the game is Movie Graphics with Ultra Rendering, Ultra Lighting, Ultra Shadows, and Ultra Vegetation. 

Before I started University Rescue Stage Mission (Miska University), I had set the graphics to Ultra HD with High Rendering, High Lighting, High Shadows, and High Vegetation. Let’s check out the LifeAfter gaming experience video recording following: 

During the stage mission, there is slightly lagging throughout the gameplay. I noticed the phone is warm after 20 minutes of gameplay and the battery usage is about 3% - 5%. 

Genshin Impact by miHoYo Limited

The last game of the day that I will try with POCO X3 Pro is Genshin Impact, one of the famous action role-playing mobile games. Although the highest graphics quality available is Highest as shown in the following screenshot, it's recommended to play in Medium graphics quality because it’s shown overclocked in both High and Highest graphics quality. 

Before I started the dungeon, I had set the graphics quality to Medium. Let’s check out the Genshin Impact gaming experience video recording following. Unfortunately the game sound was unable to record due to some technical issue in the game itself. 

When I challenge one of the domains in Genshin Impact, the whole gaming experience is very smooth and no lagging for all the time. Besides that, I noticed that the battery usage is about 20% and the phone is warm after an hour of gaming in Genshin Impact. What I observe before is usually the mid-range smartphone is recommended to play in Low graphics quality for the smooth gaming experience, by considering the specifications and the price of the phone, it’s quite worth of the money to play graphically demanding mobile games such as Genshin Impact.
