Redmi Note 10 5G In-Depth Performance Review

What do you think about the phone unboxing for Redmi Note 10 5G that I had shared recently? I believe most of you are concerned how’s the performance of Redmi Note 10 5G. Now, I would like to share my review about Redmi Note 10 5G performance with you. 

To recap, Redmi Note 10 5G is featuring MediaTek Dimensity 700 that is fabricated in 7nm manufacturing process, which is up to 28% more power efficient than an equivalent 8nm process, MediaTek Dimensity 700 features an octa-core CPU operating up to 2.2GHz and Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU operating up to 950MHz. Besides that, MediaTek Dimensity 700 also features LPDDR4X memory and UFS 2.2 storage, which run 4X faster compared to the  smartphones with eMMC. Not only that, MediaTek Dimensity 700 supports Dual 5G SIM unlike some flagship phones which support only one 5G SIM. 

I had chosen some famous online mobile games that will be mentioned in the following and had the screen recordings while playing the games to show how Redmi Note 10 5G performs while gaming. 

PUBG MOBILE by Tencent Games

The highest graphics settings available for Redmi Note 10 5G is HD with High frame rate.  You can refer to the following screenshots for available frame rate settings for different graphics settings. 

I had set “HD” graphics settings with “High” frame rate before I started the Classic match. You can check out the following video recording for the PUBG MOBILE gameplay with Redmi Note 10 5G. 

During the Classic match, the gaming experience in PUBG MOBILE with Redmi Note 10 5G is smooth. After 30 minutes gaming, the phone is slightly warm and the battery level dropped about 5%. I had noticed the overall battery level dropped about 10% for an hour gaming. 

Call of Duty®: Mobile by Garena

Medium graphic quality and High frame rate is the highest settings that is available for Redmi Note 10 5G. Before I started the Multiplayer and Battle Royale match, I had set “Medium” graphic quality settings and “High” frame rate settings. You can refer to the following screenshot for the available graphic quality settings and also the following gameplay video recording. 

The overall Call Of Duty: Mobile gaming experience with Redmi Note 10 5G is very smooth. The phone is not hot or warm and the battery level dropped about 3% after 15 minutes gaming. I had noticed after an hour of gaming, the battery level dropped about 12% and the phone was slightly warm.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang by Moonton

The highest graphics settings available for Redmi Note 10 5G is High with HD mode and HFR mode. I had set “High” graphics settings with HD mode and HFR mode turned on before I started the Classic match. During the Classic match, the gaming experience in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang with Redmi Note 10 5G is very smooth. After 20 minutes of gaming, the phone is slightly warm and the battery level has dropped about 5%.
