The night before Chinese New Year, most of the Chinese (including us) will travel to their hometown to have a reunion dinner with their family and relatives. Before we start our dinner in a restaurant, we will have Lou Sang together as a symbol of prosperity and good health. During Lou Sang, we would stand up and proceed to toss the shredded ingredients into the air with chopsticks while saying various "auspicious wishes" out loud.

After Lou Sang, the dishes will be served one by one and everyone will enjoy the dinner together while chatting with each other. The following video is the video clip that combines all the dishes of my reunion dinner with my relatives. You can refer HERE to learn more on how to create your video clip with your reunion dinner dishes.

Before we left the restaurant, we would have a group wefie to have memorable moments kept in our smartphones. After that, our relatives mentioned there is a mural street in Tampin, Negeri Sembilan that is full of art, and my family decided to pay a visit there to have some photo shoots.

After that, we returned to our rest place and had a nap. The next day, which is the first day of Chinese New Year, usually Chinese would pay a visit to their family or friends, or go to a temple. After we had our breakfast, we went to the temple that we used to go to in Malim, Melaka for some prayers during the first day of Chinese New Year. There are clear skies in the morning and you can have some shots and add some fun to your photos by changing the sky. You can refer HERE to learn more on how to change the sky in your photos.

After we had done our prayers, usually we would discuss with our relatives where we should spend the rest of the day. In the past, we would visit nearby malls such as AEON MALL Bandaraya Melaka. Our relatives mentioned that another temple nearby is a good spot for check-in Facebook or Instagram, and we decided to pay a visit there to have some nice photo shoots.

After a long afternoon at Ching San Hou Wong Er Gong, we returned to our rest place and had dinner with our relatives. During the dinner, they mentioned there is another temple located at Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan that has a lot of lanterns. We decided to pay a visit together right after our dinner.

Well, that’s how I celebrate Chinese New Year with my family and relatives this year. In my opinion, Redmi Note 11 did a great job when taking pictures of food and day-time landscape as the photo is very sharp within its price range. Although Redmi Note 11 can take very good night shots with night mode, the model in front of the lanterns might black out due to lack of the lightning. Besides that, you can add some decorations on your photos by adding the exclusive Tiger Year stickers. You can refer HERE to learn more on how to add the exclusive Tiger Year stickers on your photos.
