Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G - "108MP Powerhouse" 3 Weeks Full Review
Hello and Greeting to All Beloved Xiaomi Fans in Malaysia,
What do you think about the phone specifications and design for Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G? I had been using the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G for quite a period of time and I would like to share my full phone experience review for 3 weeks.
Design
This time, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G had a design that was quite similar to the latest iPhone 13 Pro Max, which is flat frames. Compared to the iPhone 13 Pro Max, I feel that the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is easier to grip because it is slightly curved.
Display
Similar to the previous generation, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G features an 120Hz AMOLED DotDisplay with DCI-P3 wide color gamut supported. This time, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G supports 360Hz touch sampling rate whereas Redmi Note 10 Pro only supports 240Hz touch sampling rate.
Audio
Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G also included dual speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack and Hi-Res audio certification similar to the previous generation. The sound output from the dual speakers is loud and crystal clear when the volume is turned to the max.
Camera
Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G featuring 108MP Primary Camera with 8MP Ultra-Wide Camera and 16MP Front Camera similar to the previous generation, but unfortunately it doesn’t come with telemacro camera like Redmi Note 10 Pro did, instead comes with 2MP Macro Camera. In my point of view, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is very good at capturing photos during day and night as it provides crystal clear detail thanks to its 108MP Primary Camera. Besides that, I feel it’s too bad that the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G doesn’t support 1080p 60fps and 4K 30fps video recording due to the processor doesn’t supporting it. Although there are some lacking features such as VLOG mode and Clone mode (Photo, Video, Freeze Frame) that are offered in Redmi Note 10 Pro, but the current camera features in Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is more than enough to capture amazing shots during the vacation. You can click HERE for the photos and videos that were taken with the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.
Gaming
Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G equipped with the latest Snapdragon® 695 that has built-in 6nm process technology. You may feel lag sometimes when you play the graphic-demanding game such as PUBG MOBILE, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Call of Duty: Mobile, Pokémon Unite, and PUBG: NEW STATE in the highest available or recommended graphic quality and frame rate settings, especially when there are a lot of animations need to be loaded during the war. After an hour of gaming, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G feels warm and consumes about 13% to 16% of battery. In my opinion, the performance for the Snapdragon® 695 is better than the 4G processor in the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 7 Series such as the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 732G and similar to the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 750G. You can click HERE for the gameplay recordings that were taken with the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.
Battery
Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G comes with 5,000mAh Battery similar to the previous generation. It did a good job on the battery usage, as you can use it for a whole day after you have fully charged the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. Unlike the previous generation, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G supports 67W Turbo Charging, which means that the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is able to fully charge faster. According to the battery charging test that I had conducted, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G took 52 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%. You can click HERE to read more about the battery charging test.
5G Network
Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is supported with dual 5G standby, which means you can use 2 5G SIM in Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. It also can get up to 700Mbps for download speed and 100Mbps for upload speed, and the result may vary due to the location. The 5G network speed is very incredible in my opinion, but unfortunately the 5G network is yet to roll out to the whole area in Malaysia. You can click HERE to read more about the 5G network speed test.
In my opinion, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is an affordable budget 5G smartphone which you can use for your daily life, such as watching movies and listening to music. The 5G network will roll out to whole area in Malaysia by phase, I believe it won’t be too early to purchase the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G as 5G smartphone due to some area able to access the 5G network such as Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Cyberjaya.
You can purchase Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G for RM 1,199 (6GB RAM + 128GB Storage) and RM 1,299 (8GB RAM + 128GB Storage) starting from 11th February 2022 (Friday) in Lazada, Shopee or at authorized Xiaomi Stores.
