POCO F4 “All The Strengths” - Gaming Experience Review

Hello and Greetings to All Beloved POCO Lovers, 

The performance in smartphones is very important for all of us as it will affect our daily life, such as reading documents, taking photos or videos, and playing games. POCO F4 is featuring Snapdragon® 870 similar to the previous generation. Today, I would like to try out the gaming performance on POCO F4 that features the Snapdragon® 870. Before we get started, let’s have a quick recap on the characteristics of Snapdragon® 870.

• Octa-core CPU, up to 3.2 GHz
• Qualcomm® Adreno™ 650 GPU

Before that, I had run a few benchmark tests in AnTuTu Benchmark, Geekbench 5 and 3DMark to test the performance for POCO F4 and POCO F3, the previous generation powered by the similar processor, Snapdragon® 870. I will share the result screenshots in the following.

In my observation, the game runs smoothly in most of the games with POCO F4 during the gameplay. When the settings are tuned to the Highest graphics quality with 60FPS in Genshin Impact, the gameplay does not run smooth as expected. Alternatively, you are advised to set Medium graphics quality if you want to get the awesome experience when you’re playing Genshin Impact. The highest temperature that POCO F4 is able to reach during the gameplay is around 41 degree Celcius, which means that POCO F4 did a great job to control the temperature.
