POCO C40 - Gaming Experience Review

Hello and Greetings to All Beloved POCO Lovers, 

I believe a lot of you are curious and wanted to know more about the characteristics and performance of JR510. Before I share my gaming experience on POCO C40 with all of you, let’s take a look at the characteristics of the JR510.

• 11nm Process Technology
• 8x Cortex-A55 cores, up to 2.0GHz
• ARM Mali-G57 GPU

Before that, I had run a few benchmark tests in AnTuTu Benchmark, Geekbench 5 and 3DMark to test the performance for POCO C40. I will share the result screenshots in the following. The Vulkan benchmark test is unable to run in Geekbench 5 and 3DMark due to POCO C40 doesn’t support Vulkan.

During the gameplay, I feel that the gaming experience with POCO C40 is not that smooth as expected. The game is still playable but with lag sometimes. Overall, the performance for POCO C40 is still acceptable given that POCO C40 is the entry level smartphone. You are advisable to set the graphics and frame rate to the lowest may help improve the gaming experience with POCO C40.
