POCO M5s “The Fun Magician” - Gaming Experience Review

Hello and Greetings to All Beloved POCO Lovers, 

Earlier this year, POCO released POCO M4 Pro with MediaTek Helio G96. Recently, POCO has brought us the brand new POCO M5s with MediaTek Helio G95. Today, I would like to try out the gaming performance on POCO M5s. Before we get started, let’s have a quick recap on the characteristics of MediaTek Helio G95.

Before that, I had run a few benchmark tests in AnTuTu Benchmark and Geekbench 5 to test the performance for POCO M5s. I will share the result screenshots in the following.

During the gameplay, there is the lagging issue when playing with POCO M5s in the highest graphic available (which is similar to the flagship smartphone). Besides that, POCO M5s are able to reach about 47°C and the battery usage is about 10% within half an hour of gaming. In my opinion, POCO M5s is not suitable for gaming live streaming. As a conclusion, you are advised to play your favorite gaming title in the lowest graphics settings and attach the Fan Cooler in the back of POCO M5s to avoid heat up.
