Xiaomi 12T Pro “Make Moments Mega” - Camera Performance Review

Xiaomi T Series has been focusing on bringing the best photography experience at affordable prices so that you won’t miss any moments. Xiaomi 12T Pro is featuring the latest 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP1 for an enhanced smartphone photography experience. Recently, I spent my past weekend in Kuala Lumpur and took some photos and videos using the brand new Xiaomi 12T Pro and would like to share it with you in this article. Before we get started, let’s recap on the camera specifications and features in Xiaomi 12T Pro.

In my opinion, the Xiaomi 12T Pro did a very good job in taking clear and sharp photos and videos. Not only that, the 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP1 is able to capture a lot of details in a single photo. You can choose to take ultra high definition photos in 50MP or 200MP with Ultra HD Mode. 

Besides that, you can use Xiaomi ProCut with the photos that you took in Ultra HD mode. You can choose the ratios that you want such as 1:1, 3:4, 4:3, or 9:16 and export it. The exported images from Xiaomi ProCut are of similar quality with the original images. 

The brand new “Back In Time” in Movie Effects Mode enables you to capture a 10-second video and reserve it for you automatically. It feels like it is reserved to the time before the incident happened, such as dropping the mugs, waterfall and so on. 

When you’re taking selfies or photos, you can turn on “Voice Shutter” and say “Cheese!” so that you don't need to have a Bluetooth remote to take your photo. Besides that, you also can use the “Palm Shutter” in the Selfie Camera to show your palm and capture the photo too. 

Similar to the previous generation, Xiaomi 12T Pro offers 8K video recording, HDR10+ video recording, VLOG, Long Exposure, Clone and so on. Unfortunately, the Audio Zoom feature is not available in the Xiaomi 12T Pro.
