POCO F5 “The Origin of Speed” - Gaming Experience Review

POCO F5 is the first smartphone that is equipped with the latest Snapdragon® 7+ Gen 2 in POCO F Series. Today, I would like to try out the gaming performance on POCO F5. Before we get started, let’s have a quick recap on the characteristics of Snapdragon® 7+ Gen 2.

Before that, I had run a few benchmark tests in AnTuTu Benchmark, Geekbench 5 and 3DMark to test the performance for POCO F5. I will share the result screenshots in the following.

Surprisingly, POCO F5 did a very good job in famous mobile online games, as the gameplay is smooth, and the temperature stays at a maximum of 42°C to 43°C for 30 minutes or 1 hour. This means that POCO F5 is able to maintain the temperature to a warm state even though you play in the highest graphics and frame rate settings for more than an hour. Besides that, the battery consumption in POCO F5 for an hour of gaming is about 18% to 21% and the fps rate during the gameplay is able to maintain between 57 fps to 60 fps thanks to FEAS 2.2. In my opinion, POCO F5 is definitely suitable for you if you are looking for an affordable gaming smartphone that performs well in gaming, and also able to maintain the temperature in a warm state.
