POCO C65 - Phone Unboxing & First Impression

In the middle of last year, POCO launched their first smartphone in the C Series with the large display and bigger battery. Recently, POCO introduced a new member for POCO C Series, which is the brand new POCO C65 with the powerful processor, display with higher refresh rate, better camera, and faster charging speed. I had just received POCO C65 (8GB RAM + 256GB Storage, Blue) from POCO. Without further ado, let’s get started with the phone unboxing and see what’s inside the box. 

After removing the phone cover box, you’ll see POCO C65 is inside the plastic box. The screen for POCO C65 was sticked with the screen sticker that printed with the following phone specifications for POCO C65:

The rear design for POCO C65 looks similar to POCO X5 Pro 5G where the rear is covered with matte surface, and the camera design is covered with the smooth surface with POCO logo on the right. Besides that, POCO C65 also comes with the flat edges which is similar to POCO X5 Pro 5G. 

Compared to the previous generation, POCO C65 comes with the larger 6.74” HD+ LCD DotDrop Display and higher refresh rate (90Hz). The display for POCO C65 supports 8-bit color depth (16.7 million colors) and DC dimming, and it’s certified with Low Blue Light (Software Solution) and Flicker-Free from TÜV Rheinland. Not only that, POCO C65 comes with a thickness of 8.09mm and weighs 192 grams, which is thinner and lighter compared to the previous generation. 

POCO C65 equipped with the MediaTek Helio G85 that includes a 1GHz GPU, which is powerful compared to the previous generation. This time, POCO C65 installed with the latest MIUI 14 for POCO that is based on Android 13. 

POCO C65 includes 50MP AI Triple Camera with 2MP Macro Camera, together with the 10 film Camera filters and 1 POCO C65 film frame that was first introduced in POCO F5 Series. Besides that, POCO C65 is the first POCO C Series that is equipped with 8MP Front Camera together with the soft ring light for enhancing your selfie photo in the dark and dim environment. 

You need not to worry about the battery for daily use as POCO C65 packs a big 5,000mAh battery and supports up to 18W Fast Charging. Besides that, POCO C65 comes with dual 4G standby and supports up to 1TB expandable storage. You can insert 2 SIM cards and 1 microSD card into POCO C65 at the same time. Not only that, POCO C65 supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.1 with AAC and SBC support. 

POCO C65 comes with a 3.5mm Headphone Jack so that you can listen to FM Radio with headphones. Not forget to mention that POCO C65 includes a side fingerprint sensor where you can unlock your phone with ease when you’re holding POCO C65 with your palm.
